ORGANIZING THE PANTRY ~ vacation is over

We just got home from a wonderful trip to see family in South Florida. We left NC where it was 106 degrees to go to the Florida beaches where it was in the low 90’s. GO FIGURE!!
We went to the beach, swam in the pool, played pool, played a little basketball and ultimate frisbee and ate A LOT! Thanks to my sister and brother-in-law for being wonderful hosts to our large clan. We can be a lot of work!!
Now we’re home and getting settled in (i.e. doing lots of laundry!!). There are many projects in my head that I need to start on. I’m so excited!
My pantry
I’ve bought multiple storage containers and am still looking for baskets to hold larger items.

Now I have to get to work!!!!

I hope you and yours had a safe and wonderful Fourth of July!

Now I’m going to close with some fun vacation pictures. Enjoy!

Son #4 and Daughter #2 playing video games with their cousin (Yes, she is sitting on the pool table!!)
We did lots of swimming!
Everyone was so patient teaching Daughter #2 how to play pool 🙂

We drove through the safari and  saw all kinds of beautiful animals roaming the grounds.

It was REALLY hot!

Then we went to the amusement park to ride rides, feed the animals, and ride a camel!

There was one beautiful orange fish amongst thousands of black fish.

Riding the camels.

The guys had a jamming session with their very musically talented cousin.

Me and my beautiful  sister.

And my beautiful niece!

South Florida has beautiful beaches!

A little frisbee

My beautiful nieces! I NEVER looked that good in a bikini 🙁

My handsome boys!

Thanks for reading!

Love y’all,

  1. Linda,
Looks like a fun vacation. We have family in South Florida too.Unfortunately we were not able to see them this year 🙁
I love having things organized.I just did my panty too.It is a bit small.Wish It could be pretty. But it is neat and clean.

  2. Hi Linda! Found you through “Remodelaholic”….wait! Is that how it’s spelled? Anyway, this caused me to read some of your previous posts. I enjoyed them so now I’m going to start following you. I love you kitchen make over! What type of bead board did you use? It’s panels? I’m going to reface the cabinet doors in our old, 1959, beach trailer and want to use beadboard. Also, how did Nutrisystem do for you? I lost 40# four years ago with TOPS. And have kept it off for the first time in my life. Weekly weigh in’s and accountability is what keeps me in line! Toni
