We’re focusing on our bonus room right now. It’s a fun room to play pool, ping pong, board games and some television time.
We are enjoying the wall treatment that I shared here. I’ve gotten many compliments and it was so easy to apply.
Across from the wall treatment is a blank wall which needed something that wouldn’t interfere with pool playing. So I found these beautiful bookcases from Walmart.
We bought three bookcases to fill the whole wall. Did I ever mention how much I LOVE seeing my FedEx, UPS, or any other delivery man at my door? And the bigger the packages the better!!!!
They were very easy to put together and I love how they look against the wall and they match the pool table which you’ll see later.
Decorating shelves is always the fun part.
We’ve got some board games, greenery, photos, beautifully covered journals, baskets for storage and Daughter #2 even donated an hourglass. Isn’t she sweet??!!
I even found a pretty metal basket to hold the ping pong balls!

The third wall in the bonus room was fun to decorate. All my favorite photos on one wall.
The fourth wall was supposed to be a wall of board game boards but it didn’t work out so I hung blue pictures with a theme of games.
Then my favorite part of the whole room is smack dab in the middle of the room ~ our three-in-one pool, ping pong, and game table. And yes, it’s BLUE!!!! I bought it from Wayfair and it is by far the BEST Christmas present from us to us EVER!!!!
We love our new bonus room and spend many days up there with some fun competition!!
