NEW YEAR!!!!!
I hope your 2013 was full of blessings!
I can't believe another year is almost gone. Time really does fly when you're getting old having fun!!
We've been busy in our family room this year. I just couldn't seem to get out of that room. We would finish one project and I'd want to do something else. Does that ever happen to you?
Here is how the family room looked before all the crazy started.
The first project we tackled was the flooring. The carpet in the family room was absolutely disgusting!!!! I'm being real here.
So we pulled up the carpet and layed plywood floors.
Next, we tackled the longest wall in the room. We wanted a desk, lots of bookcases, and lots of storage.
And then we turned our attention to the fireplace. It was so bare with a tv niche above. And I REALLY wanted a mantel to decorate.
We left the family room for a little while to make a beautiful space for Daughter #2.
We also touched up our guest bathroom.
Those were the big projects we finished this year. I also did some smaller projects.
