A CORN MAZE

It was a beautiful 57 degrees out and slightly overcast yesterday ~ a perfect day for a corn maze race.
About 20 miles down the road from our house is Ken’s Korny Corn Maze. It’s 6 acres, 2 1/2 miles of trails. And some of the nicest people work there!

Here is a diagram of the whole corn maze.

We started with the instructions ~ No running or horse play, no picking the corn, no alcohol, no cutting through the maze walls, and if you get lost, you wave a really big flag and someone will come find you.

We’re picking our flags.

We were given game cards.
Throughout the maze were stations that matched the letters found on the card and a hole punch. As we went by each station, we punched a hole in our card.
We divided up into two teams and we were off!

Team #1 minus me (the amateur camerman as evidenced by the quality of some of these pictures).

Team #2

THE WINNERS
WITH A TIME OF 1 HOUR 34 MINUTES
(minus the LOML ~ the better than amateur cameraman).

THE SECOND PLACE WINNERS
 (otherwise known as the losers)
WITH A TIME OF 1 HOUR 51 MINUTES

PLAYING ON THE FARM

I know what my daughter #2 will look like if she ever gets arrested (mugshot!).

Daughter #1 I think she’s napping before our long 2 mile walk.

We had such a great time spending time with our favorite people in all the world.

What did y’all do this weekend? Can you feel Fall in the air?

Love y’all,
Linda

  1. Looks so much. The closest I have been to a corn maze was running around like a lunatic in my friend’s neighboring cornfield back in college. Safe to safe I got whacked in the face multiple times by angry corn stalks. lol!
