INSPIRATION PINSPIRATION #21 ~ ceiling treatments

Welcome to my 21st

INSPIRATION PINSPIRATION

Today’s post is inspired by a big OOPS I did a few months ago.

Daughter #2 wanted a pink streak in her hair.

I had never done it before but I said, “What the heck! I can do this.”

So I googled instructions on how to do it.

I went to Walmart and bought all the supplies and on our first free night we got to it.

First, I had bleach the line of hair I was going to color. I read the directions and followed them to a T (I thought!).

It turned blonde (YEAH!) so I then applied the pink color.

Her hair turned out great. She was very happy with it.

Now to the OOPS.

The bleach instructions said to not leave the top on the bleach bottle. I don’t remember it saying “or it will explode.”

Of course, I didn’t pay any attention.

When I got back into the kitchen to set up for the coloring, I noticed little purple dots all over the counters and floor. I quickly cleaned everything up and disposed of the bleach bottle. Ah, not too bad right?

Later in the evening I was sitting at the kitchen table and my son stood beside me. When I looked up at him then past him I saw little purple dots all over the ceiling.

ALL OVER THE CEILING!!!

AHHHHHH!

To paint the kitchen ceiling, I would have to continue into the family room, hallway, foyer, and it goes on and on.

Son #1 had the brilliant idea of having a ceiling treatment to cover it up. I love that boy!!

So I’m dedicating this

to ceiling treatments.

ENJOY!

Lots of beautiful inspiration!

Now to decide what we’re going to do on our kitchen ceiling to cover up the little purple dye dots!!

Have a great weekend!
