We are getting closer and closer to finishing our upstairs hallway.
So far, we’ve hung the board & batten.
I made a large mirror on the cheap.
We found a beautiful antique table that I painted and distressed.
We still have a few projects still to do to finish this space.
We need to paint, change out the hardware and hang these french doors that we found at our friendly neighborhood ReStore.
We’ve called an electrician to hang these beauties on either side of the french doors.
Above the board & batten, we wanted to hang a photo gallery.

I AM A PICTURE FREAK!!!
I love everything to do with taking, organizing, making photo books, and just enjoying them while reminiscing about all the wonderful memories behind each photo. So this project was a lot of fun for me. I wanted to have a mixture of family photos plus my favorite pictures of each of my kids alone. So I got to look through 26 years of photos. I gotta be honest ~ there was some crying, laughing, and every emotion in between. I just adore each and every one of my children (SURPRISE SURPRISE!).
There’s a lot of small wall spaces through the hallway so I had to fill each wall with different shapes and sizes. I just laid each gallery idea on the floor first and moved things around as I liked the look.

The biggest job we will have to do to finish up the hallway and the part I’m most excited about is ripping up the 15 year old carpet and putting down dark stained hardwood floors. I can’t wait!!
