REMAKING ROMAN SHADES

When we first moved into our present house, I was in a hunter green mode.

Our master bedroom
I call this stage of our bedroom the JC Penney room. Almost everything you see I bought at JC Penney.
When I got tired of all the flowers, I changed to a more solid muted mood. I took down the curtains and hung sage green roman shades on a wrought iron rod, changed the sheets, skirt and pillow sham covers to a light green fabric. I also took down the wall lights on either side of the bed. The walls were still hunter green. Our bedroom is so large that the thought of painting it hurt me!
Then we staged our house to sell. When the stager walked through the house, she said the hunter green had to go. She said to paint it a more neutral, light color. UGH!!
We got to work painting the humongus spacious room with the same Mint Frost from Valspar that we used in the family room and kitchen
