VALENTINE’S DAY ~ A big deal <3

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!

And Happy Birthday to the LOML!

This is my 13th post on my blog every day of the month of February challenge. (I skipped one because the prompt was stupid!) Please read my previous posts to learn a little about me and  my crazy chaotic world.

Today’s prompt is

VALENTINE’S DAY. IS IT A BIG DEAL IN YOUR WORLD?

I’ve always loved Valentine’s Day! What can I say…I’m a romantic. I remember in high school, the student council would sell red roses and you could order one to send to somebody special. I always prayed I would receive one. It happened a couple of times. Made my day! I also sent a few. That was fun, too.

Then I met the LOML (Love of My Life) who was born on February 14th. What a cool birthday! The only bad is that he has to celebrate Valentine’s Day on his birthday. He buys me gifts for his birthday. That’s just not fair!!

So to the question, Is Valentine’s Day a big deal in my world?

OH YEA!!

Sixty years ago today the most wonderful, kind-hearted man was born into this world to make it a little better!

He was Valedictorian of his high school class, earned his Master’s Degree from Georgia Tech (Go Yellow Jackets!),

was crazy enough to marry a young girl from his hometown,

and make her life so much better than it ever could have been. I’m so blessed that God chose him for me and me for him.

Six kids and 32 years later and we’re still going strong.

Hope you’re enjoying your Valentine’s Day with your loved ones!

Tomorrow’s prompt is “What advice do you wish you would have received before having kids?”

Come back and learn a little bit more about me (YEAH!)

Love y’all,

Linda
