WHERE DO I WANT TO BE IN TEN YEARS?

Happy Sunday!

The whole family is going out to brunch this morning to celebrate the LOML and Son #4’s birthdays. As the kids get older and have lives of their own it’s harder to get everyone in one room so today is one of those special days. When I asked the LOML what he wanted for his birthday he said,

“The whole family together!”

I love that man!!

I’m continuing with my challenge to blog every day of the month of February answering a list of prompts over on The Sway blog.

Today’s prompt is

“WHERE DO YOU WANT TO BE IN TEN YEARS?”

My brain just ran away with this one. I am a dreamer! There’s a million things that are running through my head.

In ten years, I will be 66 years old. The LOML will be 70! Wow he’s old!! Our kids will be 39, 36, 33, 30, 25, and 24.

In ten years, I hope I’m in good health, the LOML is also in good health and we’re running around chasing our grandkids. The LOML will finally be retired because all the kids will have finished college so I want to travel. I want to buy a fixer-upper and go wild making it beautiful. Also, depending on where all the kids are, we’ll live in a central point so we can visit all of them (if they want us!).

See, I told you I have lots of plans!!

Tomorrow’s prompt is “5 Tips to Take the Perfect Photo.”

See you tomorrow!

Love y’all,

Linda

  1. Love this. It’s nice to think about a fixer upper – and about finding a central location. My mom has five kids and nine grandkids so far, and four of the kids stayed in New Jersey with their families and I’m the only one out in right field! Luckily all in the northeast.
And hey – thanks for linking to our prompts! We love writing them.
